11-year-old girl found shot inside Kansas City home dies at hospital
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Police said an 11-year-old girl was found shot to death late Wednesday evening in Midtown Kansas City.
Investigators identified her as Kourtney Freeman. She would have celebrated her 12th birthday next month.
Just after 9:45 p.m., Kansas City police responded to a home at 33rd Street and Flora Avenue — just off the Paseo — on a shooting call.
