Juvenile seriously injured in crash near 152 Highway

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A juvenile male was seriously injured Wednesday afternoon after being hit in a crosswalk.
The Kansas City, Missouri Police Department said a crash just before 4 p.m. happened on the entrance ramp to westbound 152 Highway.
KD said the juvenile male was running south on the sidewalk on N. Congress when he was hit by a white Lexus RX450.
He was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. Police said the driver of the Lexus was uninjured in the crash and stayed at the scene.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing. KD said the juvenile is in “serious but stable condition.”
