Police search for suspects who injured ATM service technician during robbery

OLATHE, Kan. (KCTV) - Police are searching for two men who injured an ATM service technician during a strong-armed robbery outside an Olathe bank.

The Olathe, Kansas, Police Department says that around 11:10 a.m. on Friday, June 13, emergency crews were called to the CommunityAmerica Credit Union at 13950 S. Black Bob Rd. with reports of a robbery.

Law enforcement officials said they found that two suspects stole money from an outside ATM as it was being serviced before they sped away in a black Jeep SUV. The vehicle was found nearby; however, the suspects were not.

Investigators noted that a thorough search of the area was conducted, but they were never found.

The suspects have been described as two men, one in a black ski mask, black plaid hooded jacket, black jeans, white tennis shoes and black gloves. The other was wearing a black ski mask, white hoodie, red pants, white shoes and black gloves.

Olathe Police said the suspects made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. No weapons were seen during the crime; however, the victim sustained minor injuries.
