BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. (KCTV) - Tim Hortons will celebrate its grand opening on June 21 at its new location in Blue Springs.

Guests will be offered opening day promotions for hot or iced coffee for $0.99, or a 10-pack of Timbits for $1.

Eligible guests can receive a digital offer for free coffee for a month with no purchase necessary.

Those who attend the grand opening event need to the Tim Hortons app and sign up for Tims Rewards to receive the free coffee for a month digital offer. It can be fulfilled as a small hot or iced coffee a day for 31 days.

The opening day promotions are limited to two per person while supplies last.

“We’re so proud to be opening our first restaurant in Kansas City soon, and we wanted to thank the community for the warm welcome we’ve already received by offering them a free coffee on us every day for a month,” said Tim Hortons U.S. President Katerina Glyptis. “We’re looking forward to serving the community our fresh Original Blend coffee and breakfast foods that are a daily routine for many of our guests, plus our range of innovative cold and hot beverages, craveable baked goods, along with the friendly service, convenience and amazing value we’re known for.”

An additional location will open at Crown Center Shops and will be located on Level 1. The opening is planned for late 2025, with construction starting soon.

“We can’t wait to introduce Tim Hortons to Kansas City, and Crown Center will be a great spot in Kansas City to reach both locals and visitors,” said Hossam Shahin, franchise owner. “In addition to these first two stores, we have signed leases for two more locations in the metro that we plan to open by end of 2025 or early 2026.”

No additional information was given about the two additional locations coming to Kansas City.
