Registration opens for 23rd Annual Tour de Lakes in Lee’s Summit

LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo. (KCTV) - The 23rd Annual Tour de Lakes promises a ride for every skill level as registration opens for the beloved community event.

The City of Lee’s Summit Parks & Recreation says that cyclists of all ages and skill levels have been invited to take part in the 23rd Annual Tom Logan Memorial Tour de Lakes on Saturday, June 21.

City staff noted that the event is expected to offer multiple route options to allow participants a choice that best suits them, from a leisurely 10-mile loop to a more challenging 64-mile journey.

Parks & Rec said the Tour de Lakes is a cherished community tradition that brings outdoor enthusiasts together in of local parks. All proceeds go to the Legacy for LS Parks Foundation to help enhance park facilities and recreational opportunities in Lee’s Summit.

Early registration is now open, with discounted prices available through June 20 - $32 for all riders 13 and under, $37 for riders 14 and up. Registration fees will increase to $37 for youth and $42 for adults on June 21.

As safety is a top priority, city leaders indicated that all riders will be required to wear helmets. Adults must accompany those under the age of 18 with a signed waiver required.
