Mahomes gear among top sellers in NFLPA’s year-end player sales list
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ merchandise remains among the top-selling items in the National Football League, according to a recent release from the NFL Players’ Association.
On Wednesday, the NFLPA released its Top 50 Player Sales List, ranking the league’s top players by retail sales on officially licensed player products from March 1, 2024, to Feb. 28, 2025.
Mahomes was edged out by Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley for the top spot on the list, but high on the list at No. 2. According to the NFLPA, Mahomes’ No. 2 ranking represented his seventh consecutive year-end top 5 finish since becoming the Chiefs’ starting quarterback.
The NFLPA’s player sales list rankings extend beyond traditional jersey sales to include bobbleheads, accessories, and more.

Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was ranked 11th on the list and running back Isiah Pacheco was ranked 46th, representing the only other Chiefs to rank in the top 50.
The NFLPA said Mahomes had one of the top-selling jerseys and was one of the most popular players for Fathead wall decal sales, youth apparel and Party Animals’ player figurines and squishy toys.
The star-studded list also featured several players who the Chiefs will match up with during the 2025 season. Aside from Mahomes, all but one player in the top 10 of the rankings will play against the Chiefs this coming fall.
