BUCKNER, Mo. (KCTV) - The City of Buckner has issued a boil advisory following a water main break Monday.

City officials said it happened in the 300 block of North Lee Street and said public works officials will be taking a water sample to the City of Independence lab on Tuesday morning.

Test results will take between 12-24 hours to return.

“Once the results come back negative for total coliform the boil advisory will be lifted,” said city Joe Bobadilla.
