KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The Kansas City Fire Department says an auto parts store was heavily damaged after a car drove through an outer wall on Tuesday.

First responders were called to the scene at 12:20 p.m. on June 10. Located at 1724 NE Parvin Road, the business hit was an O’Reilly Auto Parts with several ading businesses.

KCFD said the car hit the side and went through, causing damage so significant that the structure was added to Kansas City’s list of dangerous buildings. A tow truck removed the car within about an hour and a half of the crash.

The driver was taken to an area hospital “out of precaution,” KCFD said. It is unclear what caused the crash.

KCFD said the driver was taken to a nearby hospital as a precaution.
