Missouri Lottery player wins $60k on hand-picked numbers for Show Me Cash ticket
RAYTOWN, Mo. (KCTV) - A Missouri Lottery player won a $60,000 jackpot prize in the May 29 Show Me Cash drawing based on hand-picked numbers.
The winner purchased the winning ticket at Discount Smokes and Liquor located in Raytown. He picked the winning number combination of 3, 10, 16, 27 and 39.
“I played those numbers the week before and decided to play them again,” the winner said.
The day following the drawing, he checked the numbers and shared that he was shocked to see he won.
“I was so excited!” he said.
Show Me Cash is a daily drawing that happens at 8:59 p.m. The jackpot starts at $50,000 and continues to grow until someone wins. The jackpot is currently estimated at $121,000.
Those who purchased tickets in Jackson County in Fiscal Year 2024 won more than $109.8 million in Missouri Lottery prizes. Retailers received more than $9.8 million in bonuses and commissions, and education programs in the county received mrore than $22 million in Lottery proceeds.
