Beloved Iconium scout shop reopens after devastating fire

OSCEOLA, Mo. (KCTV) - Just two days before Christmas 2024, Scott’s Iconium General Store, a long-standing landmark for Boy Scouts visiting the H. Roe Bartle Scout Reservation near Osceola, Missouri, was destroyed by fire.
While the walls and roof remained standing, the interior was gutted, firefighters said, most likely from an electrical issue or fireplace that ignited overnight.
But thanks to an outpouring of love, it’s a new day for the beloved shop.
The store, known for its Peach Nehi ice cream floats, is back in business.
The owners, Scott and Shannon Tucker, shared a much welcome update on their social media page.
“Scott’s Iconium Store has risen from the ashes and has become The Iconium General Store. Thanks to all of your help, the Tucker family has persevered and has peach floats flowing, pizzas baking, beads and claws for sale, and more coming online every day.”

The shop continues to accept help from those interested via their GoFundMe.
