Newest, seventh Betty Rae’s location set to open up in Shawnee in early July
SHAWNEE, Kan. (KCTV) - Betty Rae’s Ice Cream announced it will be opening its seventh location in Monticello Center at 22350 West 66th Street.
While a specific date was not given, the new location is expected to open in early July.
The new location s stores in Waldo, the River Market, Olathe, Prairie Village, Overland Park and the test kitchen in Merriam.
Additionally, Betty Rae’s added a second ice cream truck to serve at events throughout Kansas City. In 2023, Betty Rae’s began selling in local grocery stores.
A second franchise location is in Omaha, with plans for franchises in Wichita, Kansas; St. Louis, Missouri; Nashville, Tennessee; Denver, Colorado; Oklahoma City and Tulsa, Oklahoma; and Bentonville, Arkansas.
