OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (KCTV) - Residents and visitors of Overland Park (OP) will be able to ride a free circulator shuttle between City Hall and downtown OP beginning on June 7.

The shuttle provides a way to spend more time downtown and explore the Farmers Market, shops, restaurants and avoid finding parking.

The shuttle will run on Saturdays through July 26 from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Johnson County Transit is providing its buses.

“This shuttle service makes visiting Downtown OP even easier,” said Mayor Curt Skoog. “It’s my hope that visitors and residents will come for the Farmers’ Market and stay for our wonderful downtown shops and restaurants before hopping a ride home.”

The route begins and ends at City Hall and has four stops throughout downtown OP. The bus will be at each stop approximately every 15 minutes. Riders can get off and on at any of the following stops:

  • OP City Hall
  • Santa Fe Drive at Clock Tower Plaza
  • 79th and Marty
  • Mid-block between 79th and 80th on Floyd
  • 80th and Marty

The route will be different on June 14 due to the closures for the OP Art Fair.
