AMC Theatres brings back annual summer camp showing family-friendly movies

LEAWOOD, Kan. (KCTV) - The annual AMC Theatres Summer Movie Camp program is returning to its screens for summer 2025.

Viewers can enjoy family-friendly movies from DreamWorks Animation and Illumination at certain locations in the Kansas City area.

A different movie will be featured weekly, and screenings will be offered on Mondays and Wednesdays at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. beginning on June 23.

Tickets can be purchased online for $5.19, which includes an online convenience fee, plus tax. Tickets purchased at the box office are $3, plus tax.

  • June 30, July 2 - Minions: Rise of Gru
  • July 7, 9 - Despicable Me 4
  • July 14, 16 - Kung Fu Panda 4
  • July 21, 23 - The Wild Robot
  • July 28, 30 - Shrek
  • August 4, 6 - Migration
  • August 11, 13 - The Secret Life of Pets
