Teen girl critically injured in Wyandotte County park shooting

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) - A teenager is in the hospital with serious injuries after she was shot early Saturday morning.
The Wyandotte County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the shooting that took place around 3:15 a.m. on May 31 in Quindaro Park.
Investigators say the victim, a teenage girl, was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition. A person of interest is in custody, but the investigation is ongoing.
