KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - For the first time in nearly 20 years, the Kansas Jayhawks will travel to Columbia, Missouri, for a matchup on the gridiron.
The teams announced kickoff times for their first three weeks of the football season, including their Sept. 6 game, which will also be the first time the programs have played against each other since 2011.
Kickoff at Faurot Field is scheduled for 2:30 p.m., and the game will be televised on ESPN2.

The Border War renewal is part of a four-game home-and-home series between Kansas and Missouri. The Jayhawks will host the Tigers Sept. 12, 2025, and then the series returns to Columbia on Sept. 6, 2031. The final game of the series is set for Sept. 11, 2032, in Lawrence, Kansas.
The last five games between the two schools were played at Arrowhead Stadium from 2007-2011. Prior to that, the teams only played on campus, dating back to 1945.

Kansas begins its season at home against Fresno State on Aug. 23. The 5:30 p.m. kickoff will be televised on FOX. Kansas will then host Wagner on Friday, Aug. 29, at 6:30 p.m. That game will stream on ESPN+.

After their game against Missouri, the Jayhawks return home to face Utah. The game time is scheduled for 11 a.m., and it will air on ABC or ESPN.
