MoDOT plans for repavement, closures on I-670 through weekend

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The Missouri Department of Transportation will continue construction on sections of I-670 over the weekend.
MoDOT announced that the following will be closed from 6 p.m. on Friday to 6 a.m. on Monday:
- EB I-670 from just past 18th Street in Kansas to Troost Avenue in Missouri
- Ramp from Central Ave. to EB I-670
- Ramp from EB I-670 to SB I-35
- Ramp from NB I-35 to EB I-670
- Ramp from Broadway Boulevard to EB I-670
- Ramp from Truman Road to EB I-670
- Ramp from EB I-670 to SB U.S. 71
The construction is a continuation of repaving EB/WB I-670 from Troost Avenue to 18th Street into Kansas.
Drivers on EB I-670 will be detoured around the I-70 closures.
Work on WB I-670 is scheduled for Friday, May 30 – Sunday, June 1 and Friday, June 6 – Sunday, June 8, according to MoDOT.
