KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A rematch of last season’s AFC Championship Game will be played in Week 9.

As the NFL announced games for the 2025 NFL schedule on Wednesday, the Kansas City Chiefs’ road trip to Orchard Park to visit the Buffalo Bills will come on Nov. 2. The game will be broadcast on CBS and kick off at 3:25 p.m. CT.

It’ll be the sixth consecutive season in which the two teams have met during the regular season, with each organization dominating their respective divisions to create frequent matchups between the two.

Kansas City has not beaten Buffalo in the regular season since the 2020 season. However, the Chiefs have typically gotten the last laugh, with Kansas City winning each of their four matchups in the playoffs. That includes a 32-29 victory for Kansas City in the AFC Championship Game four months ago.

November’s matchup between the teams will be the first since Bills quarterback Josh Allen was named an NFL MVP. It will also be the first time the teams have met since the NFL implemented a hawkeye technology system for spotting the ball, a response to January’s controversial fourth down spot on a Josh Allen quarterback sneak attempt during the AFC title game.
