Motorcycle driver dies after crashing on I-70 exit ramp, falling onto railroad tracks

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - One person died Tuesday morning after crashing their motorcycle near downtown Kansas City, Missouri.

The Kansas City Police Department reported that a motorcycle was driving eastbound on I-70 just before 8:20 a.m. when it crashed on an exit ramp to Beardsley Road.

Police stated that the impact of the crash threw the motorcycle driver over the exit ramp and down below onto the railroad tracks. The motorcyclist died at the scene.
