Woman injured in south Kansas City shooting Thursday night

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A woman suffered from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds Thursday night at a residence in south Kansas City, Missouri.
The Kansas City Police Department reported that law enforcement was made aware of an aggravated assault in the 9900 block of Richmond Avenue just after 11:15 p.m.
Officers found a woman who had been struck by gunfire to an extremity. She said she was at an address nearby when she heard gunshots.
The victim stated that she was struck by the gunfire but did not know from where the shots came.
