Man dies after being struck by dump truck in Kansas City, Kansas

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) - A man died Tuesday morning after being struck by a dump truck.
The Kansas City, Kansas Police Department stated that about 8:30 a.m., a vehicle struck the pedestrian in the area of West 43rd Avenue and State Line Road.
The driver of the dump truck did not stay on scene, law enforcement stated.
The construction company is cooperating in the investigation with police as officers worked to identify the trucker driver, KCKPD stated.
