WARRENSBURG, Mo. (KCTV) - A man was hospitalized on Friday with serious injuries he sustained in a motorcycle crash.

In a report, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said the crash happened shortly before 2 p.m. on March 21.

A 66-year-old man was reportedly driving a 2003 Harley Davidson north on MO-13 toward Warrensburg when he went off the right side of the road. He hit a MoDOT sign and was ejected from the bike. He suffered serious injuries and was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

MSHP indicated he was not wearing a safety device at the time of the crash. The motorcycle was reported as totaled.
