Man, woman dead in shooting at Northland home
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Police in Kansas City, Missouri, are responding to a homicide scene in the Northland Tuesday afternoon.
A spokesperson for the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department said officers have been dispatched to the 6800 block of N. Madison Avenue.
KD said a preliminary investigation revealed a man and woman suffering from gunshot wounds who were both pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers found the man as they entered the home and later found the woman. Police said they were called to the area just before 4 p.m. Tuesday on a welfare check.
KD said the shooting is being investigated as a homicide and detectives are not looking for any suspects at this time.
