18-year-old charged with murder after September double homicide outside Maple Park
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office says charges have been filed months after a double homicide in Kansas City.
18-year-old Austin Stiles is accused of murdering 15-year-old Antonia Frazier and 22-year-old Jimmy Bowman in a shooting on Sept. 18, 2024.
According to police, the incident happened just after 7 p.m. in the 300 block of Maple Boulevard, just outside of Maple Park in the Pendleton Heights neighborhood.

When officers arrived, they found Frazier and Bowman in the street next to a gray Chevy Sonic. Surveillance and cell phone video captured the shooting which prosecutors say led detectives to identifying Stiles as their suspect.
When interviewed, Stiles allegedly acknowledged his role in the shooting. He is now facing multiple charges and will be standing trial as an adult:
- Two counts of second-degree murder
- Two counts of first-degree robbery
- Four counts of armed criminal action
The motive behind the shooting remains unclear.
