COLUMBIA, Mo. (KCTV) - A Lee’s Summit North product is entering the 2025 NFL Draft following three seasons at Mizzou.

On Friday, Missouri right tackle Armand Membou shared a statement on social media announcing that he’s heading to the draft following three seasons with the Tigers.

“As I look back, I am filled with gratitude and appreciation for these last three years as a Missouri Tiger,” Membou said in the post. “While this decision was not made easily, I am filled with excitement about the thought of pursuing my lifelong dream of playing at the next level.”

Membou signed with the Tigers as part of their 2022 recruiting class as a four-star offensive lineman out of Lee’s Summit North High School. He played in 11 games as a true freshman with the Tigers in 2022 and served as Mizzou’s primary right tackle in 2023, starting all 13 games including a Cotton Bowl win over Ohio State.

The 2023 season included a Joe Moore Award semifinalist honor for Membou and the Mizzou offensive line and the Lee’s Summit native was an Outland Trophy Watch List member in 2024.

ESPN’s Pete Thamel said Membou projects as a Top 100 player in the 2025 draft according to NFL scouts. He was a four-star recruit out of Lee’s Summit North and was the 6th-ranked player in the state of Missouri in the Class of 2022. He s wide receiver Luther Burden as the second Mizzou player to enter the draft early.

Membou will not play in Mizzou’s bowl game following a 9-3 season for the Tigers. It remains to be seen what bowl game head coach Eli Drinkwitz and the Tigers will play in.
