KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The case file involving a well-known member of the Blue Springs community is now in the hands of the Jackson County Prosecutor’s office.

The Blue Springs Police Department said it handed over evidence in the Bobby Hawk investigation. The prosecutor’s office said it has the case. The office will eventually decide if charges are warranted against the former school board president and pastor.

A group of woman announced last month that they plan to sue Hawk and made claims that Hawk perused inappropriate relationships with each one of them. That lawsuit has not yet been filed.

Hawk resigned from his elected position with the on leave pending further review. Hawk later resigned from the church.
