‘Cat’s out of the bag’: Chiefs to host Bengals in second game of season
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The Chiefs won’t exactly be easing into their season to begin their 2024 campaign.
One day after the NFL announced that the Chiefs would host the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday, Sept. 5, in the season opener, the league has scheduled a second must-see game for two-time defending champs.

Week 2 will feature Mahomes and the Chiefs taking on Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, Sept. 15, at 3:25 p.m. The game will air locally on KCTV5.
The Bengals and Chiefs have played each other twice in the AFC title game in the last three seasons, with the teams splitting those matchups. They last played on New Year’s Eve - without the Bengals having Burrow healthy - and the Chiefs won that matchup 25-17.
Regular season tickets go on sale Thursday, May 16.
The KCTV5 Sports Team will break this all down in a special edition of KC Sports Tonight on Wednesday at 8 p.m. on KCTV5.com.
