Woman who died after shots fired into Santa Fe neighborhood home identified
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The victim who died after shots were fired outside her home in Kansas City’s Santa Fe neighborhood has been identified as a 58-year-old woman.
The Kansas City, Mo., Police Department announced on Wednesday, April 10, that it has identified the victim of a shooting in the Santa Fe neighborhood that happened the day before as Nancy Stinnett, 58.
Just before 10 p.m. on Tuesday, first responders said they were called to a home in the 3000 block of E. 32nd St. - two blocks away from Central Park - with reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found Stinnett with an apparent gunshot wound and unresponsive.
Investigators indicated that Stinnett was inside her home when shots fired from outside whizzed through the wall and killed her. As of Wednesday, no further information including suspect information has been released.
