‘Shots came into the house from outside’: One dead in Santa Fe neighborhood
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - One person is dead following a shooting in the Santa Fe neighborhood of Kansas City, Missouri.
A shooting call came into KD at 10 p.m. Tuesday from a home in the 3000 block of E. 32nd Street near Agnes Ave. and Walrond Ave.
On arrival, officers were directed inside a house where they found a woman shot and unresponsive.
Preliminary investigation indicates that the victim was inside the home when shots came into the house from the outside and struck her.
Officers called for EMS who did officially declare the woman deceased.
Detectives are interviewing witnesses and processing the scene for evidence.
