Royals release 2024 broadcast schedule ahead of Opening Day

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The Kansas City Royals and Bally Sports Kansas City announced the team’s 162-game regular season schedule on Friday.

Bally Sports Kansas City will televise 161 regular season games and 1 game is scheduled for Major League Baseball’s national television package. That game, a Friday, May 10 matchup with the Los Angeles Angels on Apple TV+.

Three of the Royals games will be televised on both Bally Sports Kansas City and Fox Sports 1. Those games will be:

  • Thursday, May 9 at the Los Angeles Angels
  • Monday, May 20 vs. the Detroit Tigers
  • Thursday, June 27 vs. the Cleveland Guardians

Regular season coverage for the Royals on Bally Sports KC begins Thursday, March 28, with an expanded pregame show beginning at 2 p.m. for the 3:10 p.m. first pitch on Opening Day. The expanded pregame show will feature the on-field ceremonies at Kauffman Stadium.
