WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - After a season that saw the Wildcats receiving their highest ranking in program history earlier in the season, the Kansas State women will begin their postseason journey in their home arena.

The Wildcats are tabbed as a No. 4 seed in the Albany Regional 2, taking on No. 13 Portland in their first round matchup.

Kansas State holds wins over Iowa, Texas, Baylor and West Virginia in the regular season. They finish the year with a 25-7 record, the most wins for Kansas State under head coach Jeff Mittie.

The Wildcats are led by their star center Ayoka Lee, who was just named a unanimous All-Big 12 selection.
